Hi, I'm Sam and I am 16. I have been involved with the youth project since the start. Alan
Hello my name is Alan, I am a young leader of the Joan Boswell Hall. I am 19 and live in Wrexham, I live in a shared house away from my mum and sisters and have been a part of this youth project for nearly 4 years. I was one of the young people who had a consistent role in the Gateways project from deciphering a 1940’s farm wives handwriting to helping create a story for all ages to develop a link to Plas Bellin Hall.

Hi I'm Taz, I am 25 years old and I have been involved in the youth project for 2 years now and I am contributing my story to the gateways project to give you an insight into my life. People say life is a roller-coaster and I feel that mine has definitely been that.
Jamies
My name is Jamie, I’m 17 years old and I live in Wrexham. I have been involved with the youth project for 3 years and I have taken part in a variety of different activities and events. Living in Wrexham I am with my mum and my three younger brothers. I attend Coleg Cambria, located in Wrexham town centre, where I study BTEC Level 2 diploma in sport. I previously attended Rhosnesni High School and was there for a year and a half. I enjoy watching films and reading books and comics, which has helped me a big deal in the Gateways project as it provided me with great imagination and an ideal perspective on stories.

Hi I'm Shaun and I am 23, for the last three and a half years I have been involved with the youth project at Plas Bellin. With the help of the project I have grown in confidence and gained various skills and independence.
When I told this story I was 22 and since recording it I have gained full time employment. I now help vulnerable people of all ages and those threatened with homelessness. This is my story about how I went from homeless to helping prevent others from having to experience it.
